Preserving memories of life in 2011 for future generations

Students with time capsule contents

A time capsule recording everyday life in 2011 has been installed at the site of the Thomas Ferens Academy.

The capsule was buried in the foundations of city's newest academy, and will be unearthed in 30 years time and will give a unique insight into the academy's beginnings and the community it serves.
