All Year 6 students coming to the Academy should attend every day of the Induction Week. Some parents have asked me if their child can attend events at their primary school to celebrate the end of their time at primary school...

Our Induction week starts on July 16th and ends on July 20th. It will take place at the University of Hull.

Construction work on the new, state of the art Academy school in the north of Hull is underway. The University of Hull is the lead sponsor in the £24.5million project, which will replace the outgoing Sir Henry Cooper School.

The Thomas Ferens Academy is taking inspiration from Hull's martime links.

Ms Juliet Strang has been appointed as the Principal Designate of the Academy in the north of Hull, which is due to open in September 2012.
